Explore NZ are also proud to have been awarded Eviro Gold for our products showing that we are doing our bit for the environment.

We are members of the Sustainable Business Network and made a huge step by committing ourselves to the introduction of biofuel across our fleet in Auckland and the Bay of Islands.

We are also committed to helping projects like Project Island Song and Project Kiwicare, helping to restore parts of New Zealand to the pristine wilderness they were before human habitation.

Project Island Song

The aim of Project Island Song is to restore ecological balance to a group of islands, collectively known as Ipipiri, in the Bay of Islands.

The vision is both to restore native wildlife habitats by removing pest species and to reintroduce birds and plant species to the islands.

Visit the Project Island Song web site, or call into the Project Island Song visitors' centre at Otehei Bay, Urupukapuka Island.

Project
Kiwi Care

Project Kiwi Care is an Explore NZ initiative, a charitable trust formed to provide financial support to local conservations projects including Project Island Song.
